Y es que las preferencias y gustos de nuestros novios son un punto muy importante a tener en cuenta en (M)OMENTS cuando empezamos a organizar su boda. Siempre queremos que todo este acorde a la personalidad y estilo de vida de los prometidos.
Esta original pareja vino a celebrar su boda a Mallorca después de una larga luna de miel por Nueva Zelanda. Si, si, primero la luna de miel y después la boda ¿y quien dice que no se puede hacer al contrario? Pues Karo & Niko alquilaron una caravana y se pasaron seis semanas recorriendo este espectacular país oceánico.
Vemos las fotos de las playas de Nueva Zelanda y se nos cae la baba. ¡Que envidia chicos!

Today we present Karo and Niko. A German couple we became very fond of last year. This couple, now married are two very open people, sportive, lovers of nature, animals and outdoor activities. The preferences and tastes of a couple are very important points for MOMENTS to keep in mind when we begin to organize their wedding. We always want everything to be in accord with the personality and style of life of the couple.
This original couple came to celebrate their wedding in Mallorca after a very long honeymoon in New Zealand. Yes, yes, first the honeymoon and then the wedding. And who says you cant change things around? Karo and Niko rented a caravan and spent six weeks traveling around this spectacular country in Oceana.
We drooled when we saw the photos of the beaches of New Zealand. What envy chicos!
Nuestros queridos alemanes se casaron por lo civil en Alemania y celebraron la fiesta allí, pero no querían dejar pasar la oportunidad de hacer una ceremonia simbólica en Mallorca. Cada vez son más las parejas que optan por esta opción, la verdad es que tienen muchas ventajas: una fiesta más tranquila, sin presiones de papeleo legal, solo invitados más íntimos, tiempo para elegir un sitio mágico, mejor decorado, con más mimo, más desenfadado e informal.
Como es habitual, el día comenzó con los preparativos de los novios y aunque utilizaron los mismos trajes que en la ceremonia oficial, esta vez fue de manera más desenfada. Los velos y tacones altos dieron paso a flores en el pelo y ramo silvestre, más natural y fresco.

Our adorable germans were married in a civil ceremony in Germany and they had a celebration there, but they did not want to lose the opportunity of having a symbolic cermony in Mallorca. More and more couples opt for this option. Actually it has many advantages: a more relaxed celebration , without the pressures of legal papers, with only their closest friends, time to pick a magic place, decorate better, with more care, more casual and informal.
As is usual, the day began with the preparations of the bride and groom and even though they wore the same outfits as in the oficial ceremony, this time it was more casual. The veil and high heels gave way to flowers in the hair and a wildflower bouquet, more natural and fresh.
La finca que escogieron para este soleado día de mayo fue Ca s´Hereu de Sa Figuera. Esta situada en el corazón de la Sierra de Tramontana, y es una antigua "possessió" mallorquina del siglo XVII. Se compone de numerosos salones, siete habitaciones, una "tafona" (molino de aceite), un molino de harina y aunque dispone de una capilla la ceremonia no fue allí.

The estate they chose for this sunny day of May was Ca sHereu de Sa Figuera. It is located in the heart of the Sierra Tramuntana, an ancient XVII century possessio mallorquin. It has many salons, seven bedrooms, a tafona ( oil press), a grain mill, and although it has a chapel the ceremony was not held there.
Nuestra compañera Petra (Dep. Organización) viendo que a los novios les gustaba la naturaleza y estaban abiertos a nuevas ideas, les propuso montar una capilla en una terraza, en lo alto de la finca. Desde allí, las vistas eran espectaculares, la finca, el puerto y se veía hasta el mar. Además le ofrecimos a Karo la posibilidad de subir hasta allí en un burro propiedad del dueño de la finca y ¿sabéis que nos contesto? ¡¡¡SI!!! La idea le entusiasmó y así fue, llego al altar a lomos de un bonito burro gris.

Our colleague Petra (Organization department) seeing that the couple like nature and were open to new ideas, proposed to mount a chapel on one of the terraces high up on the estate. From there the views were spectacular, the estate, the port, and down to the sea. She also she offered the idea that Karo had the possibility of going up there on a donkey, property of the owner of the finca and guess what she answered? Si!!! The idea enthused her and so she arrived at the altar on the back of a pretty grey donkey.
Y mientras la novia subía muy cómoda sentada encima del burrito, nosotras decidimos gastarles una broma a los invitados. Desde la finca al altar había cinco minutillos a pie por un sendero. A mitad del sendero pusimos una señal diciendo que todavía les quedaban tres kilómetros y medio ¡Que susto se pegaron! Menos mal que se lo tomaron con humor. Además colocamos una sorpresita a mitad de camino; un corner de limonada en para que los invitados se pudieran refrescar.

And while the bride rode up comfortably seated on the donkey, we decided top lay a joke on the guests. From the estate to the altar there were five little minutes on a foot path. Halfway up we put a sign that said there were three kilometers and a half ahead. What a fright they had. At least they took it with humour. We also placed a surprise along the path; a lemonade stand where the guests could have a refreshing drink.
Una vez arriba comenzó a sonar una melodía de guitarra española. La misma canción con la que se casaron en Alemania. Y es que estos novios mantuvieron las cosas que más les gustaron de la ceremonia oficial para repetirlas en esta. La ceremonia fue muy emotiva y romántica.
Os contamos una anécdota curiosa. La mujer que realizó la ceremonia es dobladora. Estamos seguras de que reconoceríais su voz ya que da vida al conocido amigo de Bart Simpson; Milhouse. Y es que esta boda esta llena de sorpresas.

Once they got to the top, they heard the sound of a melody played on a spanish guitar, the same melody they married to in Germany. They kept the parts they liked best from the oficial ceremony to be repeated in this one. The ceremony was very emotional and romantic.
We have a curious anecdote. The woman who performed the ceremony is an imitator. We are sure you would recognize her voice when she gives life to the well-known friend of Bart Simpson; Milhouse. And this wedding is full of surprises.
Toda la decoración que montamos en esta montaña estaba muy acorde con el lugar. El altar de madera con decoración de telas blancas, ramas de olivo y limones de la finca. Para los invitados unos fardos de paja a juego con el entorno, forrados con cojines blancos. Una decoración perfecta de estilo rústico/natural.

All of the decorations we set up on the mountain were in accord with the place. The altar of Wood decorated with White cloths , branches of olives and lemons from the estate. For the guests bales of straw to match the environment, lined with white cushions. A perfect decoration of rustic / naturalstyles.
Después del "si quiero" los invitados hicieron un pasillo con unos palitos que diseñamos nosotras (lazos y cascabeles) para que los novios pasaran por debajo y desearles suerte en el matrimonio. Una sorpresa que gusto mucho, sobre todo a las invitadas.

After the "I do" the guests made a tunnel with some sticks that we decorated with ribbons and bells so the couple could pass under it and be wished good luck . Another surprise that was enjoyed by all, especially by the guests.
Más tarde bajaron de nuevo a la finca para el aperitivo. La decoración de la mesa estaba compuesta por amarillos, tierras, verdes y blancos. Ramitas de olivo, limones, velas, candelabros? todos los elementos detalladamente colocados encima de un luminoso mantel blanco. ¡Estaba todo precioso!

Later, they went down to the finca. There awaited a mountain of varied kebabs and a special drink, White Sangria. They chose this drink to mix the local sangría with a touch of creativity (White wine). The coolness was perfect for the very hot day.
Allí les esperaban un montón de pintxos variados y una bebida muy singular, White Sangría. Eligieron esta bebida para mezclar la autoctoneidad (sangría) con un toque de creatividad (vino blanco). El refrigerio fue perfecto para este día caluroso.
Las sorpresas no cesaron en todo el día. Los regalos para los invitados también fueron un bonito recuerdo de la zona. Sal de Es trenc y aceite de Sóller. Y también hubo libro de recordatorio y consejos para la pareja. Como no podía ser de otra manera, el libro fue muy original y de temática natural. Un árbol de huellas en el que cada invitado dejaba su dedo marcado y escribía una dedicatoria.

The surprises did not stop all day long. The gifts for the guests were also lovely souvenirs of the área. Salt from Es Trenc and oil from Soller. There was also a memory book and advice for the couple. As would be expected, the book was very original and had a natural theme. A tree with branches where each guest put their fingerprint and dedicated a message to the couple.
Después de la cena, la pareja nos sorprendió mucho con una antigua tradición alemana. La novia se levantó el vestido y el novio le quitó la liga con la boca. ¡Que pareja más natural y divertida!

After the dinner, the couple greatly surprised us with an ancient German custom. The bride raised her gown and the groom took off her garter with his mouth. What an adorable and natural couple!
Abrieron el baile los "recién casados" con la romántica canción Thousand Years de Christina Perri. Y el segundo fue por parte de los padrinos con When I Need You de Rod Stewart. Ambas parejas lo hicieron muy bien, al ritmo de la música y con una iluminación tenue con velas y farolillos.
Y pensareis que aquí acaba la celebración, pues no. El segundo día hubo más sorpresas. De esta segunda parte se encargo Niko, de echo Karo no tenia ni idea de lo que le esperaba.
Esta segunda parte fue más intima y solo con la familia. Niko invito a todos a que se reunieran por la mañana para comer la tarta que habían reservado del día anterior. Karo un poco sorprendida espero a ver que pasaba.
Y cual fue su sorpresa cuando su marido saco un colgante de Tiffany y se lo regaló. Como no podría ser de otra forma, el colgante era un pequeño olivo. Además (M)OMENTS realizó las gestiones para que la finca cediera un olivo a la pareja. Los novios subieron a lo alto de la finca, donde se habían casado el día anterior y plantaron el pequeño olivo en compañía de sus invitados.
Este olivo representa su amor y todos los años volverán a la finca para ver como crece. De momento este amor ya a dado sus frutos y sabemos que estáis embarazados. ¡Enhorabuena chicos!

The newlyweds opened the dancing with the romantic song "A Thousand Years" by Cristina Perri. The second was for the best man and woman with "When I Need You" by Rod Stewart. Both pairs danced so well to the rhythm of the music and with the illumination of the candles and hanging lights.
You probably think this was where the celebration ended, but no. The second day there were more surprises. Niko took charge of this second part, and not even Karo had any idea of what awaited her.
This second day was more intimate and was only for the family. Niko invited all of them to meet in the morning to eat the cake that he reserved from the day before. Karo quite surprises, waited to see what would happen.
And imagine her surprise when her husband pulled out a Tiffany necklace and gave it to her. Of course the necklace could not be anything but a tiny olive tree . Moments made an additional gesture of having the finca give an olive tree to the couple. The couple and all their guests went up to the highest part of the finca, where they had married the day before, and planted the small olive tree.
This olive tree represents their love and every year they will return to the finca to see how it is growing. And to top the news, we discovered their love had born fruit as Karo was pregnant. Congratulations!.
