Sofia y Federico nos contactaron a través de una amiga que casamos hace unos años con la que compartieron infancia en Formentor todos los veranos. El vínculo con Mallorca viene ya de sus padres, aunque ninguno de ellos vive aquí sienten un especial cariño por la isla que les hace volver y volver cada año. Por eso mismo, decidieron que era el lugar dónde ambos deseaban celebrar su unión.
It all started with a first call where we saw how special both Sofia and Federico were, their way of explaining what they wanted and wished for their big day, as well as giving the importance to share time with their guests was the key to know that we were going to fit.
Sofia and Federico contacted us through a friend we married a few years ago with whom they shared their childhood in Formentor every summer. The link with Mallorca comes from their parents, although none of them live here, they feel a special affection for the island that makes them come back and come back every year. That is why they decided that this was the place where they both wanted to celebrate their union.
Tenían las ideas claras por lo que no fue difícil encontrar espacios que les llamaran la atención por su arquitectura, su carácter o su magia, lo difícil era elegir cuál de ellos era el idóneo ya que tenía que reunir varios requisitos, no solo el espacio en sí, sino sus alrededores y la capacidad para crear la experiencia que ellos deseaban. Era fundamental que todos los invitados pudieran alojarse cerca los unos de los otros, compartir no solo el día en sí, sino el tiempo que pasaran en la isla todos juntos. Para ello, nos decantamos por el Puerto de Sóller, lugar idóneo donde es difícil no cruzarte con el vecino cuando vas a comprar. Así conseguimos su objetivo, pasaron días juntos disfrutando de diversas actividades con la familia y los amigos en la zona. Organizamos una preciosa velada la noche anterior a la boda en el puerto con los más de 200 asistentes donde se podía disfrutar de las vistas tanto del pueblecito costero como de los colores de su puesta de sol.
They had clear ideas so it was not difficult to find spaces that caught their attention for its architecture, its character or its magic, the difficult thing was to choose which of them was ideal because it had to meet several requirements, not only the space itself, but its surroundings and the ability to create the experience they wanted. It was essential that all the guests could stay close to each other, sharing not only the day itself, but the time spent on the island together. For this, we chose Puerto de Sóller, an ideal place where it is difficult not to cross paths with your neighbor when you go shopping. So we achieved their goal, they spent days together enjoying various activities with family and friends in the area. We organized a beautiful evening the night before the wedding in the port with more than 200 attendees where you could enjoy the views of both the coastal village and the colors of the sunset.
Para la celebración de la boda se decantaron por la Parroquia de Sant Bartolomé en pleno centro del pueblo solleric, su portal los enamoró desde el principio. La llegada de la novia a la plaza suscitó la expectación que siempre se espera en los pueblos, como no podía ser de otra manera. Sofia estaba deslumbrante, lucía un precioso vestido de corte clásico diseñado a medida por la increíble diseñadora madrileña Inés Martín Alcalde, lo más destacable era su precioso velo con pequeños bordados en forma de margaritas provenientes del vestido de novia de su madre. La ceremonia estuvo cargada de sentimiento desde la entrada de Federico con su hermana pequeña, en honor y representación de su madre, como la entrada de Sofia con su padre, ambos muy emocionados.
The wedding celebration they chose the Parish of Sant Bartolomé in the center of the village solleric, the portal fell in love from the beginning. The arrival of the bride to the square aroused the expectation that is always expected in the villages, as it could not be otherwise. Sofia was dazzling, she wore a beautiful classic cut dress custom designed by the incredible Madrid designer Inés Martín Alcalde, the highlight was her beautiful veil with small embroidery in the form of daisies from her mother’s wedding dress. The ceremony was full of emotion from the entrance of Federico with his little sister, in honor and representation of his mother, as the entrance of Sofia with his father, both very excited.
Tras la ceremonia dirigimos a los invitados hacia la estación del antiguo tren de Sóller donde les esperaba la gran sorpresa. ¡Ese iba a ser su medio de transporte! Los invitados disfrutaron de un precioso paseo con el Tren de Sóller hasta el andén que tiene los Jardines de Alfabia, lugar elegido por la pareja para su convite.
After the ceremony we directed the guests to the old Sóller train station where the big surprise awaited them. That was going to be their means of transport! The guests enjoyed a beautiful ride with the Tren de Sóller to the platform that has the Alfabia Gardens, the place chosen by the couple for their wedding reception.
Aquel que ha visitado los Jardines entenderá lo que quiero decir, es un lugar con magia. Te engancha desde la llegada con su imponente fachada como con cada uno de sus verdes rincones, el ruido del agua y estar rodeados de tanta naturaleza hace que creas estar a kilómetros de la ciudad, estando realmente a escasos 10 minutos.
Those who have visited the Gardens will understand what I mean, it is a place with magic. It hooks you from the arrival with its imposing facade as with each of its green corners, the sound of water and being surrounded by so much nature makes you think you are miles away from the city, being really just 10 minutes away.
El coctel tuvo lugar a la sombra de su palmeral acompañado de música en vivo para amenizar. Creamos diversos espacios con estaciones maravillosas para hacer que todos los invitados pasearan por el lugar, era un verdadero oasis fresco en pleno mes de agosto.
The cocktail took place in the shade of its palm grove accompanied by live music to entertain. We created several spaces with wonderful stations to make all the guests walk around the place, it was a real cool oasis in the middle of August.
Durante la puesta de sol fuimos sentando a los invitados a la mesa. Para el convite Sofia y Federico habían preparado el plato fuerte. Cada detalle estaba pensado al milímetro. Se creo un espacio acogedor con preciosas lámparas de caña y bambú, así como una increíble decoración floral preservada sobre la larga mesa presidencial. Los colores que marcaban el carácter de esta boda eran naturales y orgánicos con pequeños toques granates, blancos y mostaza. Disfrutaron de una agradable velada de risas, buena comida y compañía de los suyos. Cabe decir que en cada una de las palabras que se dijeron durante la cena se veía el amor que desprendía esta pareja.
During the sunset we seated the guests at the table. Sofia and Federico had prepared the main course for the reception. Every detail was thought out to the millimeter. A cozy space was created with beautiful cane and bamboo lamps, as well as an incredible floral decoration preserved on the long presidential table. The colors that marked the character of this wedding were natural and organic with small touches of maroon, white and mustard. They enjoyed a pleasant evening of laughter, good food and the company of their loved ones. It must be said that in each of the words that were said during the dinner you could see the love that this couple exuded.
Para cerrar la noche, ubicamos la fiesta en el lugar que desde el inicio nos había llamada la atención: su fachada. De día su color y el paso de los años te cautiva, pero por la noche iluminada era todo un espectáculo.
To close the night, we located the party in the place that had caught our attention from the beginning: its facade. During the day its color and the passing of the years captivates you, but at night when illuminated it was a spectacle.
